I want to do what I want, when I want, and I want it now…says the grandchildren of the “ME” generation

This seed of contempt was first seen in the ME GENERATION of the fifty’s, fermented in the home of the upper class.
The slippery slope was off to a great start. This generation I chose not to to participate in gave birth to the “WHO ME” generation, the slope growing more slippery, provided their parents with their first grandchild, the NOT ME generation.
It is difficult to name the following generation except to anticipate that it will be named the “NOT ME EITHER” generation. It is this that I hope to intercept, and impact America, their is no time to lose, for it will be too late, as in Rome and all that fell with it.
The world had evolved post WWII …for now to “Keep up with the Jones” the need for a two family income was paramount, Children now came second. The world of Visa, Mastercard has arrived.
Compensation for the lack parental love and devotion came in three forms.
1. Material things.
2. No boundaries.
3. No expectations
So much of what needs to be said is not being said by anyone. Many point of views. cultural, political, social have been stifled. Contempt for authority bred by modern-era parenting of “when I have time” has defined our youth of the past, modeling today’s behavior for the children of tomorrow.
The GOTCHA MEDIA, provides leads to the legal community to create what is simply an ongoing and growing litigious enviornment that precludes positive and cooperative interaction (yes, civilized) with those who disagree, regardless of the sides taken.
Add the dynamic of enabling the performance lacking citizenry and what has been created, but for survival alone, is a politically incorrect enviornment. To me it is Inpolitically correct and it is the basis of the thesis for “Beyond Puke.” http://www.beyondpuke.com

Son, you have not lived up to our expecations. 5 Million per year we expected you to win games. ….”Coach, …we have just started the season,..I have improved every game…the first game lost was done with a lot more runs, 5 games later, than i’m giving up now. “My goodness Coach, I lost by one run..if it wasn’t for that error the third baseman made, I, err I mean we would of won…I call this improvement.”

Natural law, re-engineered reality, why not…following the entertainment division of all major networks, why not reality that is, that isn’t….life imitating art, art imitating life…I’m getting confuse…anyone with a scorecard? A second difficulty is said to lie in the distinction drawn between exoteric and esoteric philosophy. Tennemann (Vol. II. p. 220) says: “Plato exercised the right, which is conceded to every thinker, of communicating only so much of his discoveries as he thought good, and of so doing only to those whom he credited with capacity to receive it. Aristotle, too, had an esoteric and an exoteric philosophy, but with this difference, that in his case the distinction was merely formal, while with Plato it was also material!” How nonsensical! This would appear as if the philosopher kept possession of his thoughts in the same way as of his external goods : the philosophic Idea is, however, something utterly different, and instead of being possessed by, it possesses a man. When philosophers discourse on philosophic subjects, they follow of necessity the course of their ideas; they cannot keep them in their pockets; and when one man speaks to another, if his words have any meaning at all, they must contain the idea present to him. It is easy enough to hand over an external possession, but the communication of ideas requires a certain skill; there is always something esoteric in this, something more than the merely exoteric. This difficulty is therefore trifling.

News that is aimed at entertaining an audience as well as inform & educated the audience is doomed for failure.

Former Washington Post reporter Carl Bernstein remarked recently that today’s media is “more gossip and trash than news.” -

Bernstein’s Watergate is the genesis of todays “investigative (Gotcha) Journalism added, “much of today’s news has evolved into gossip, sensationalism and manufactured controversy.” –

“That type of news panders to the public and insults their intelligence, ignoring the context of real life,” he said. “Good journalism,” he added, “should challenge people, not just mindlessly amuse them.” -

I know a con when I see one…(it does take one to know one).

At the very least mediacrats are distorting the idea of news being connected to journalism and the ethical requirements that govern that which we read. It is simply BeyondPuke that we can regulate the food we digest, the drugs we saturate our bodies with but no governing body to watch what we feed our heads. You know…S_it in S_it out!
