Civic Responsibility? The media demonstrates NONE!
January 4, 2009 | Posted by admin How does one reconcile the formidable power of the global media and entertainment conglomerates, and the governments who appear to fawn over them, with the need to nurture an intelligent culture that allows the individual citizen to possess the intellectual and imaginative space; as well as, the cultural space in which to make their own choices and assert their own sense of moral authority?
Is it possible with the current lack of Civic Responsibility that the media demonstrates, that perhaps we are at the end of our rope? After all, they have the First Amendment to hide behind with their constant abuse and misuse.

I hear ya! This has been my pet peeve in this last election is the lack of watchdog status that was once applied to the main stream media. Any more, the media has become the mouth piece of liberals pushing their agendas. Case in point is the new Washington DC AP Bureau chief telling his reporters to insert their opinions into their articles. Having seen your posting in Craigslist, I am interested in possibly working with you. I’m so sick of being politically correct that I feel nauseous. Politically incorrect is the way to go!
